In our busy everyday lives we often lose access to our mindfulness because we face distractions like conversations, discussions, judgements and arguments. In this retreat we will refrain from talking and dedicate our time to singing and reciting of Mantras.
In Buddhism holy sentences or syllables are applied as Mantras. These are tolls for meditation. They protect our mind from harmful notions and concepts. As we sing or recite Mantras certain vibrations allow the breath to fall into a regular rhythm. Mind and body will be able to relax in a peaceful state of joy and devotion. When practiced as meditation Mantras aid meditators in transformation.

Brother Phap Xa
Thay Phap Xa is a Dutch Monk, who ordained in Plum Village in February 2003.
He lives Waldbröl since July 2010. He studied and taught Mathematics and studied Chinese Medicine for a few years.
He offers courses on different topics, like mindful hiking, tea meditation and enjoys the beautiful nature around Waldbröl....

Jacek Jung, certified relaxation teacher, has been a certified massage therapist for traditional Thai yoga massage, Thai foot reflex zone massage (Kloster Wat Po Schule in Bangkok) and traditional Chinese foot reflex zone massage since 2005. He has been practicing with the EIAB Sangha since 2009....
