Our communication can be the cause of happiness as well as suffering. We will learn and practice mindful speaking and listening with children (0-17) in the family in order to learn how to maintain a loving attitude even in difficult situations. The basis of successful communication is our own mindfulness.

During the first weekend we looked at how our feelings influence our communication; during this second weekend we will take a closer look in particular at loving speech and deep listening with children.

This course can be booked separately. The first course weekend takes place from 13 - 15.03.2020.

Course language: Tineke understands German very well, so it is possible to discuss things with her in German. She will give her Dharma talks in English.

Due to the Covid situation, we organized all our courses and retreats in July and August with limitations in accordance with the rules of the state government and the situation of EIAB, especially the options for course/retreat registration. Therefore the options are restricted as follows: campsites, commuters and multi-bed rooms are not available anymore, single rooms with or without a private shower will be offered to those who come as a single person, double rooms will be reserved exclusively for couples and those who come from the same household.

Tineke Spruytenburg

Tineke Spruytenburg (1954) graduated in Pedagogical sciences. After an academic career she became a qualified teacher at the age of 48. She worked in basic and special education.
She has been a member of the Order of Interbeing since 2006 and lived in Plum Village for two years. In 2007 she visited Vietnam with Thay and the four-fold Sangha.
