K18124: BUDDHIST PSYCHOLOGY AND SYSTEMIC WORK WITH THE INNER FAMILY
15.11.2018 - 18.11.2018
Course with Uli Pfeifer-Schaupp
We all harbour within ourselves many different parts. In Buddhism we call them mental formations. With some of these parts we are intimately familiar, they come up all the time. We can also describe them as our inner family. In IFS –Internal Family Systems Therapy - we work systemically with these inner sub-personalities.
There is quite a bit of overlap with the practice of mindfulness and Buddhist psychology. We will examine some of our inner parts in this course more closely and practice to welcome them with loving kindness. Step by step we will learn to respect those parts that we held in disregard in the past. We will work on finding a new balance for our inner system.
