K18123: OPENING THE SOURCES OF LOVE Discover the strengthening and healing power of our heart
15.11.2018 - 18.11.2018
Course with Thay Phap An and Sister Song Nghiem
The practice of love is an important element of mindfulness practice. Love can help us to find true healing and awakening. The four elements of true love are: loving kindness, compassion, feeling the joy of others and equanimity.
In this course we will practice speaking and acting on the basis of these four qualities. At first we practice to return to ourselves and love ourselves. If we don’t develop compassion for our own suffering, it is unlikely that we can feel compassion with others. Then we practice to send our love to those who are closest to us and finally even to those who are difficult to get along with.
