K18117-a : GRIEF SEMINAR– Time for Tears, Time for Hope, Time for Ourselves
01.11.2018 - 04.11.2018
.
Course with Isabel Schupp
This class offers support after the loss of a loved one.
In the protected space of a group of people who share the same experience we may share memories, allow grief and find new hope to live.
It doesn’t matter how long ago we experienced the death of a loved one: it may be just weeks or even years. Those around us seem to move on and act as though the experience lies in the past.
As we don’t want to fall ill with grief, but let it change in a wholesome way, it needs to be seen, acknowledged and expressed.
The practice of mindfulness helps us to meet grief with kindness instead of rejection. Mindfulness will help us to honour our beloved in memories of the time we experienced together. We may find space for our beloved in our life. We acknowledge instead of repress, we let it be instead of fighting it, we integrate instead of letting go.
