K18086 : PATIENCE IS A SIGN OF LOVE
12.07.2018 - 15.07.2018
Course 4M with Thay Phap An and Sister Song Nghiem
Every day we experience our own limitations and constraints as well as the ones of our fellow human beings in our families, among friends, at work and in our society. Oftentimes we react impatiently and hypercritical when confronted with the mistakes and weaknesses we find in ourselves and others.
When we practice patience, we also practice mindfulness. When we are patient we learn how to truly see and understand ourselves and others more deeply. We take a step back and recognise our own pain, but also the sorrow of others, so we don’t react, but act with understanding and compassion. Patience helps us to give each other space to discover and develop our potential. We learn to live without judgement and reach reconciliation and forgiveness.
In this retreat we nourish the quality of our patience, so that we may live our relationships based on deep insights and deep understanding.
This course is for parents who would like to come with their children. For the children we offer a separate program, see ‚Happiness Training for Children‘ (ages 6-12).
