Course 4C with Thay Phap An and Sister Song Nghiem

Many generations of practitioners were deeply inspired by the idea of following the path of love and understanding in the development of Buddhist teachings. This path is called path of the Bodhisattva or path of the Enlightened Being. The related teachings from the tradition of Mahayana Buddhism are still relevant and helpful today. On this path we cultivate our spirit so we may contribute to the well-being of other sentient beings and to develop the qualities of love, compassion, generosity and patience. Walking on this path we receive support improving our own sense of peace and happiness as well as assisting others in achieving these goals. We learn to make positive contributions to our environment and counteract the present-day instability in the world. Being a bodhisattva means that we have the courage to encounter life calm and with a loving heart, moving through our lives with wisdom and dignity.
This course will provide the opportunity to discover this jewel of Mahayana Buddhism, to study the path of the bodhisattva and its practices, while learning how to integrate its wonderful teaching into our lives so that each life will result in an offering to our loving Mother Earth and a healing contribution to more peace in the world.
