Course 3I with Thay Phap An and Sr. Song Nghiem

Chen-Style is one of the oldest styles of Tai Chi Chuan (‘Chinese Shadow Boxing’). Chen-Style Tai Chi Old Frame 1 puts the emphasis on softness with rigour.
In this course we will learn meditative movements that allow us to feel the relaxing effect they have on body and mind. During the movements we will practice balance, equanimity and awareness. The steps are light and firm, the body upright, and the vital energy (Qi) flows naturally throughout the whole body. Constant repetition will allow us to learn the movements easily.
The positive effects of Tai Chi include: stress relief, relief of anxiety and depression, improved mood, increased energy and stamina, improved flexibility, and more. Tai Chi can also help improve our sleep, strengthen the immune system, lower blood pressure, increase the metabolism and prevent heart failure. The practice of Tai Chi improves our overall sense of well-being and vitality.

This course will also be offered on the following dates:
16.01. – 19.01 / 07.05 – 10.05. / 16.07 – 19.07. / 03.12 – 06.12.
The courses can be attended independently of each other.
