Rooms at the EIAB

Rooms at the EIAB are very limited. Please register early if you would like to stay in a room at the EIAB for the retreat. The 2 person rooms with private toilet are available only for Option 4 (International Retreat only) and are reserved for couples or adults coming in pairs only.

Single rooms are not available at the EIAB for this retreat.

(If you are staying in a room at the EIAB, please bring your own sheets, duvet cover, pillowcase and towel. A duvet and pillow will be provided. If you are unable to bring your own bedding, we have limited sets of bedding for rent at €10, payable when you register on arrival day (cash only). Exception: bedding is provided for those staying in the EIAB “2 Person Room with Private Toilet”)

Children 0-5 years old:
Children from 0 - 5 years old may attend the retreat without charge. They will share the same bed as their parent.

Camping at the EIAB

We have a simple, but pleasant and big campground at the EIAB for those who choose to camp for the International Retreat. Our campground is not far from the main buildings, and there are toilet and shower blocks located just nearby. Please bring your own tent, camping foam pad, sleeping bag, pillow etc. and whatever other items that will make your sleeping comfortable and warm. No camper vans or mobile homes of any size are allowed.

Commuters

There are many pensions near the EIAB available for overnight stays. Many are located close to the EIAB (within 10km), and are only 5-15 minutes away by car. Prices start from €25/person/night. If you would like to register as a commuter, simply book a pension near the EIAB, and register for the retreat as a “Commuter”. Please note that you are responsible for your own transportation to and from the EIAB daily for this option.

Mobility issues

We have very few bedrooms on the ground floor at the EIAB, and there is a step from the entrance of the building to the ground floor rooms. During the retreat, you have to go from one place to another for the different activities, and some of the EIAB grounds are on a slope. Walking meditation may also include some steep paths. If you have concerns regarding this matter, please write to us at: retreatnl@eiab.eu before registering.
